FAQ

View our frequently asked questions about our Florida airboat tours!

  • Why should we go with Airboat Wilderness Rides?

A few things to remember. Nature is unpredictable and we are guests in her environment. There are some things we cannot control, but you have our promise that we will give our 100% effort to make your trip as enjoyable as possible. We are the longest established airboat tour on Florida’s Treasure Coast. We are fully licensed, insured, and have experienced United States Merchant Marine USCG licensed Master Captains.

  • Are reservations required?

Yes. Please book online through our reservation portal on the website!

  • Are bugs a problem?

No. The dragonflies naturally control the mosquito population and bug spray is not needed.

  • What should we bring?

Sunscreen, camera, and a bottle of water should do because the tour is only 50 minutes.

  • What should we wear?

In summer, shorts and a short sleeve shirt will suffice. In winter, long pants and a light jacket are recommended.

  • Should we expect to get wet? Will we get seasick?

No, the rides are in calm water and you will not get wet or seasick!

  • What can I expect to see?

You can expect to see alligators, turtles, exotic birds and tropical plants in their natural habitat!

We don’t recommend the ride for children 3 and under.
